These terms cover the Keystone website, your Keystone account, the official Keystone app builds and the online services they use (sign-in, licences, remote access and updates). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

The Keystone source code is published under the MIT License, which governs your use of the source code. These terms cover the official builds we publish and our online services. The Free edition is free. The Pro edition and some online features need an active Pro or Team plan on your account, and the app checks your licence regularly. Don't try to get around licence checks or share Pro builds or licences.
You sign in with Discord, so you must be at least 13, or the minimum age for Discord where you live, and follow Discord's terms. Keep your Discord account secure: anyone with access to it can use your Keystone account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
Pro is $8 per month. Team is $10 per month for the Discord account that pays. Both renew every month until you cancel. You can cancel from the plans page under Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. Shared team seats, custom roles and team audit history are not included yet. If you're a consumer in the UK, the cancellation terms below apply. A price change for an existing subscriber will be announced before it applies.
Your right to cancel. If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. At checkout you confirm that you want access to start straight away and that you understand this means you lose the 14-day right to cancel once access starts. You cannot complete the purchase without those confirmations. Stripe emails the receipt. You can still cancel future renewals as described above. This doesn't affect your right to a repair, replacement or refund if Keystone is faulty or isn't as described.
Records of your purchase and use. While you have a paid plan, we keep a record of how you got it, the terms you accepted, and when the Pro app was activated and used on each of your installations. The privacy policy explains what's in these records and how long we keep them.
Payment disputes. If something's wrong with a payment, please contact us first at admin@the-best.uk. We'll sort out mistakes and duplicate charges quickly. If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer, we may give them and our payment provider the records above, to show what was bought and that it was delivered and used. While a dispute is open, we may pause the paid plan on your account.
Your servers, worlds, plugins, bots and files belong to you, and you're responsible for them. That includes following the rules of the games and platforms involved:
Software Keystone downloads for you comes from its own publishers under their own licences. We don't monitor what you run on your own PC.
Don't use Keystone or its services to break the law, to host or spread malware, to harass people, or to infringe other people's rights. Don't attack, overload or probe our services, abuse the remote access relay, or access other people's servers or accounts without permission. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Beta features, including Discord bot hosting, are previews. They may change, stop working or be removed. Please don't depend on them for anything critical.
Keystone helps you make backups, but no tool is perfect. Keep your own copies of anything important. Cloud backups go to storage you control (such as your Google Drive or your own bucket), under that provider's terms.
We work to keep the website and services running, but we can't promise they will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop online features. If we stop a paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a refund.
Keystone is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for:
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Keystone is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and uses their names only to describe what it works with.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when, and significant changes will be announced in the app or on Discord. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts handle disputes. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
